This project can be considered as a continuation/improvement of the project PROMETEO2017/102, which in turn was a continuation of PROMETEOII/2013/013 and PROMETEO2008/101. The main aims are:
1)
To obtain new, original results,
2)
To improve the international impact of our group and to transfer the obtained knowledge as far as possible,
3)
To develop new lines of research.
We plan to investigate in several relevant, interconnected areas of functional analysis, operator theory, complex and Fourier analysis and dynamical systems, and to apply them in different contexts: Mathematical epidemiological models, biomedical signals, signals from electrical machines, and financial time series. We will consider open problems in more abstract fields as well as several strategic directions related to applications of analysis to science and technology.
Our 4 main lines of research are:
1.
Abstract evolution equations,
2.
Non linear Analysis in infinite dimensions: Dirichlet series and algebras of holomorphic functions,
3.
Dynamics of operators and applications,
4.
Time-frequency analysis and applications in signal processing.
